Step 1

Contact your county ELC

Ask about its current orientation, local submission process, contracting schedule, and required documents.

Step 2

Register in the Provider Portal

Create or access the program’s official provider account using the business and licensing information requested by Florida.

Step 3

Complete the SR contract

Florida requires the statewide provider forms to be completed in the Provider Portal. Participation begins only after the provider and an Early Learning Coalition execute the contract.

Florida DCF Resources

Licensing, training, and provider requirements

Florida Department of Children and Families licensing is separate from the Early Learning Coalition School Readiness contract. Providers should use both systems when each applies to their program.

Additional Provider Support

Foster-care resources and public provider visibility

Find resources for educators who are also foster parents or prepare a verified Alliance directory listing for families.
