President’s Welcome

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the National Alliance for Home-Based and Center-Based Educators.

I founded this Alliance because the educators who care for and teach young children deserve to be seen, supported, and respected—whether they serve children in a family child care home, child care center, school, or community program. Although we work in different settings, we share the same commitment to children, families, and high-quality Early Learning.

Our purpose is to bring those voices together. Through professional learning, leadership development, wellness, advocacy, recognition, and community partnerships, we will create practical opportunities for educators to connect and grow.

We are beginning our work in Florida, with Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, and Polk Counties serving as our first regional focus. As we grow, we will continue building toward broader state and national representation while remaining grounded in the needs of educators and the families they serve.

Whether you are an educator, owner, director, assistant, student, trainer, parent, advocate, or community supporter, you are welcome in this Alliance. I invite you to learn about our work, share your ideas, and join us in strengthening the Early Learning profession.
